Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Identify the elements of a communication situation.
- Perform preliminary audience analysis.
- Selection of appropriate subject matter.
- Gather and select appropriate materials.
- Organize material into appropriate structural pattern for oral presentation.
- Encode thoughts into appropriate verbal and non-verbal transmissions.
- Practice by rehearsal the oral presentation of the speech.
- Present the speech to a live audience.
- Listen, evaluate, and critique oral presentations by other students.
- Incorporate and use of visual aids into an oral presentation.
- Define and apply various training methods to meet business needs.
- Conduct Needs Assessment, and Determine when training is a possible solution.
- Develop Adult Learning Instructional Design training materials and Lesson plans.
- Evaluate training effectiveness.
- Illustrate how new technologies influence training.
- Describe the Trainer’s Role
- Identify challenges in training and development
- Demonstrate various games & activities
